Accent Inns and Four Points Sheraton are too far outside downtown Victoria, which is where all the best food and stuff to do is found, as well as the hotel where Nate and I will be staying (Chateau Victoria).
I’ve released half the rooms at Accent Inns and Four Points and gotten a block of rooms at a brand new boutique hotel downtown called Hotel Rialto.
Deluxe Single Queen rooms, at a rate of $118.15CDN/night + taxes.
*Please reference the Magsalin/Luzod wedding when making your reservation.
Dates of reservation span from 8/27 – 8/31. Cancellation policy is 1 week. The release date corresponds with the cancellation policy.
The hotel is right downtown, a few blocks from the water, and about a 4-5 block walk from the Chateau Victoria Hotel.
It was awesome and excellent to see so many people at the Detroit Shower. Thanks everyone who showed up, particularly those I haven’t seen in such a long time. Thanks to Marlene and Dad for hosting the party, to Mom for helping out with the food, to my soon-to-be-mother-in-law for coming all the way out from San Diego to attend, and to my sisters for helping to orchestrate the whole thing.
That was the last stop before the wedding. 50 something days and counting. Yikes!
It is June 27th at 2PM.
It will be held at the Luzod household, and hosted by Nate’s lovely step-mum, Marlene Luzod.

Hello friends, family, countrymen and women. By now you’ve probably received your “Save The Date” card (pictured, left). Apologies if they’re making it to your mailbox little later than we would have liked. Hopefully they’re not too late. From what we can tell, plane tickets are at an all-time low at the moment, so perhaps the timing is just right. Anyway – we only printed a few of these, and we sent out even fewer. We’re anticipating a not-too-big, enjoyably-sized, intimate wedding – so we’re hoping everyone who was notified can make it.
We’re really happy so many people have already verbally RSVP’d and are ready to make the trek to BC with us. Having just returned from my second trip there last month, I can honestly say it’s among the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. No matter where you are in life, we’re pretty sure you’ll be able to find something to love about BC and specifically Vancouver Island.
We’ll be posting more and more info here as the big day gets closer. Send us your email address (via “Get in Touch”) and we’ll keep you informed of updates, etc.
Thanks for stopping by. We hope to see you there.
